I have the same approach to my make-up, as I do toward my clothes and sense of style : I mix more expensive brands with super affordable products – because at the end of the day its the quality of the product that matters – and not the name brand.
Recently I discovered ‘Freedom Make-up London’ & ‘I Heart Makeup London” products and everything I used to create this look is UNDER R220.00! So let’s go!
Recently I had the greatest pleasure of sharing a few of my favourite looks with Glamour Magazine. We were limited to choosing only one pic per look which was so tough – so I thought I’d take the opportunity to post some exclusive photos and tell you a little more about these beautiful garments and accecories!
Who could forget the iconic scene in Sex and the City 2, when Carrie and her squad walked through the exotic Abu Dhabi desert dressed head to toe in the most Fabulous Modest fashion.

Couture houses have been selling luxury modest fashion to wealthy women from the Middle East for years. Now A-list designers and mass-market retailers are taking notice of this market — such as DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, Oscar de la Renta, Zara, Mango — by producing one-off collections for the Islamic month of Ramadan. Spring is here my lovelies!! I cannot describe how happy it makes me that we finally get to shed those heavy winter coats in exchange for light and airy fabrics! For those of us that indulged a bit too much this winter, you will LOVE this season’s fresh new take on denim – the off the shoulder denim dress Continue reading “Off the Shoulder- One of 2016’s BIGGEST Runway Trends”→
Red lipstick is like the little black dress or perfect strand of pearls, bringing sophistication or sultriness to an evening look. It’s definitely one of the sexiest, if not the sexiest lipstick shade. Continue reading “The Perfect shade of Red”→
With Spring right around the corner, all white is a trend I am INLOVE with! It’s cool, fresh and crisp, and as always I take my inspiration from the runway and the red carpet. Here’s how to do it right!

WHY WE LOVE WHITE!
There are certain pieces in white that will NEVER go out of style – a crisp white cotton shirt, and a simple V-neck Tee are must haves in every woman’s closet. Paired with ripped white denims and a nude heel, you can’t go wrong. But there is so much more to this incredibly chic colour trend like precisely tailored white suits, or a white trench coat as opposed to the regular khaki trench. WE LOVE that boho-gypsy skirts and dresses and are back in.
From flowy Grecian inspired frocks, to figure hugging jumpsuits, all white is alright for Hollywood’s biggest stars! The beautiful thing about all-white is that it flatters all skin tones! Complete your look with metallic accesories – gold, silver and rose gold, or go bold with a bright shoe like our style darling Kerry Washington (seen above).
We may be in the heart of Winter, but most designers are releasing their Spring/Summer collections – and that got me so excited! I found the perfect summer bodysuit by local design house Infin8ti. These are not available in YDE stores yet, but it gives us all something to look forward to! Please Summer, Do Hurry!
Style Tip : Try a no fuss, lightweight feminine maxi dress this summer!
